Sponsored by Purrify

Purrify runs this site and pays for it. You should know what that buys and what it doesn't, so here it is.

Who Purrify is

Purrify Management Inc. is a company in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. It sells Purrify, an activated carbon additive for cat litter, in bags. It is a business, not a charity, and this site is not a charity either.

What Purrify gets

Its name in the header and footer of every page. And a small number of links to purrify.ca, on pages where cat owners might want them. Those links are marked as sponsored in the page code, and they carry tracking tags so Purrify can count the visits they send.

What Purrify never touches

• Donations. Every donate button goes to the recipient's own donation page. The recipient takes the payment and sends the receipt. Purrify receives no part of any gift and never sees your card details.
• Listings. We list an organization because its own public information checks out.
• Help pages. Pages for an animal that needs help now carry no product links at all.

Who has not endorsed this site

None of the organizations on this site has endorsed Purrify or the site. That includes the Nassau County SPCA and the former Pet Safe Coalition. Seeing an organization here means we found and checked its public information. It doesn't mean the organization works with us.

Why the old name

Other websites still link to pages at this address, some of them written years ago. Keeping the name and the old addresses means those links lead to something honest: the old pages, marked as history, and help that works today. What happened to the original group.
