Volunteer or donate to animal shelters
Pet Safe Coalition takes no donations and no volunteer sign-ups. Every link here leads to the organization itself, so your gift or your time goes straight to it.
Give to a shelter
The donate page lists 30 US shelters and humane societies. Each button opens that organization's own donation page. It takes the payment and sends the receipt. Purrify gets no part of the gift.
We matched each one to the IRS list of tax-exempt organizations. Canadian groups have no donate button yet, because we haven't been able to check them against the Canadian charity register.
Volunteer
Shelters and rescues run their own volunteer programs. Find one near you, then read its volunteer page to see what it needs. For disaster work, RedRover says more than 4,800 trained volunteers help it shelter animals displaced by disasters or rescued from cruelty cases.
