About this site

Pet Safe Coalition is a directory of organizations that help animals, run by Purrify. It is not the Long Island group that used this name before, and it is not a charity.

Came here looking for that group? Its program became part of the Nassau County SPCA around 2015, and the IRS revoked its tax-exempt status in 2018. The full story, with sources.

Who runs it

Purrify Management Inc., a company in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, runs the site and pays for it. Purrify makes a cat litter additive. It registered the petsafecoalition.org address in October 2026, after the address had been sitting parked. How the sponsorship works.

What it does

What it doesn't do

It doesn't take donations, shelter animals, arrange adoptions or accept cruelty reports. It doesn't answer emergencies either. If an animal is in danger, call your local emergency number or animal control first, then use Find help now.

No connection to the former organization

The former Pet Safe Coalition, Inc. of Wantagh, New York, has no part in this site and has not endorsed it. The same goes for the Nassau County SPCA and every organization we list. Old pages kept here carry a "Historical content" notice, and their dates and contacts belong to the past.
