Art auction fundraiser, October 2013

Posted on the former site on 12 September 2013.

The former group announced a live art auction for Friday 25 October 2013, from 7 to 11 pm, at a hotel in Plainview, New York. Tickets were $15, with food and a cash bar.

The group said the money would help house pets of Long Islanders when flooding or harsh weather in a declared emergency made home unlivable. It invited people to meet the volunteers it said had cared for more than 500 pets during Sandy.

We do not know how the auction turned out. This event is long over. Its sign-up details are not repeated.
