ICS-100 course notice, October 2013

The former group told its volunteers about the Incident Command System Level 100 course on the evenings of 8 and 9 October 2013 at the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management headquarters in Bethpage.

It explained that the course covers the command structure used in the declared disasters that its volunteers might be called to. It added that taking the course did not oblige anyone to join the county CERT program, though the group encouraged it.

The notice named county staff to contact. Those contacts are not repeated, and the course date has long passed.
