A $6,000 grant announced, December 2012
Archive of the former Pet Safe Coalition's website. This site is not that group.
On 11 December 2012 the former group said it had been named a recipient of a grant from the Emma Barnsley Foundation for a second year in a row. It gave the amount as $6,000, to be used to improve life for companion animals in the New York area.
It said it would use the money to reach more people with its two-part mission: a safe haven for pets in disasters, and teaching pet owners to keep themselves and their pets safe in emergencies.
This is the group's own announcement. We did not find the foundation's side of it.
