Tip 13: what a dog go kit needs

Posted on the former site on 24 May 2013.

The 2013 tip said a dog's go kit should hold a muzzle, or a piece of felt that can be made into one. A pet in pain can bite, even a gentle one. It also said to pack scissors and tweezers.

The old post said the muzzle trick was taught in a pet first aid class run by an outside business. Neither that class nor that business is connected to this site.

Ready.gov says to ask your veterinarian what belongs in a first aid kit for your pet. Ask yours whether a muzzle should go in, and how to use it safely.
